Golden Gate Park is San Francisco’s largest park. At 3 miles long and 1/2-mile wide it covers 1,013 acres and is actually bigger than New York’s Central Park. Among the park’s many features are beautiful gardens, the Japanese Tea Garden, the San Francisco Botanical Garden (formerly the Strybing Arboretum), the Conservatory of Flowers and several museums.
