Aquatic Gardens

The primary purpose of an aquatic garden is to house, display, or propagate a particular species or variety of aquatic plant as well as to house ornamental fish, in which case the feature will be a fish pond. They are typically small and relatively shallow, generally less than twenty inches in depth. This is because most aquatic plants are depth sensitive and require a specific water depth in order to thrive.

What does all this have to do with world travel? Well I guess you could say that I’m a proponent of recreating a slice of nature, something reminiscent of your travels, in your own backyard, no matter how big or small, so that you can “get away from it all” without having to travel too far.
