Wonders of an Alberta Winter

Alberta, Canada is home to two of the world`s greatest national parks in Jasper National Park and Banff National Park, as well as lovely Lake Louise. The three areas are divided by the Icefields Parkway, arguably the most beautiful mountain pass in the world. They play host to millions of tourists every year with plenty of wintertime activities and breathtaking mountain scenery.

Stretching over the Canadian Rockies as a segment of the North American Rocky Mountain Range, the untouched wilderness is home to deer, bighorn sheep, elk and moose.

The summer is actually when the parks fill to capacity and the hotel lobbies are packed with busloads of tourists. The winter crowd is thin by comparison and has tons of terrific terrain to explore and phenomenal snow excursions to enjoy.
